Translate Excel workbooks, formulas untouched
Drop an .xlsx file. Text cells and comments change language; formulas, numbers and dates stay exactly as they were.
Scanned PDFs and images are next on the list.
A workbook that still adds up
Only the text changes
We translate text cells and comments, nothing else. Formulas, numbers, dates, TRUE/FALSE values and cell styles are never touched, so every calculation still works.
Sheet names stay put
Formulas, named ranges and pivot tables refer to sheets by name, so sheet names are kept as they are and nothing breaks.
Bilingual workbook
Ask for the bilingual version and each sheet with text is followed by a translated copy, named after the original plus the language code, like "Budget (es)". Compare them tab by tab.

Questions
Which Excel files can I upload?
Workbooks (.xlsx) and templates (.xltx); the translation comes back as an .xlsx. Older .xls files, binary .xlsb, macro-enabled .xlsm and password-protected workbooks can't be translated: save them as a plain .xlsx first.
How is a spreadsheet priced?
Only the text we translate counts: every 2,000 characters of text cells and comments is one page. Numbers, dates and formulas are free, so a big sheet of figures costs very little. You see the price before you start.
Is every cell translated?
Every text cell and comment is, except header rows of Excel tables (Insert → Table), which formulas refer to by name, and comments that @mention someone. Text in charts, text boxes and pictures stays as it is. A formula built on translated text shows its new result once Excel recalculates.
Is my document private?
Files are deleted after 7 days on the free plan and 30 days on Pro, or the moment you press Delete. We don't use your documents to train AI models, and the translation models only get the text to translate, never your name or email.
Can I try before translating everything?
Yes. "Try 3 pages first" translates just the start of the file, charged for those pages only. Translate the whole file afterwards and those pages aren't charged again.
